PURPOSE: A method for providing a game relay service for a point-based competition game for a smart device is provided to maximize the fun of the competition game by supplying a point according to a result of the competition game. CONSTITUTION: A service providing server registers a first and a second user as members and provides a membership congratulation point(S100). When a user terminal of a first user requests participation in a competition game, the server selects the second user(S200,S300). The server provides a process related to the competition game to user terminals of the first and second users and determines a winner and a loser(S400). The server provides a predetermined point to the winner and deducts the predetermined point from points of the loser(S500).
