PURPOSE: An illumination-type signboard is provided to reduce energy consumption, maintenance costs, and the number of LEDs needed for making a signboard. CONSTITUTION: An illumination-type signboard comprises an insulation material(415), an aluminum frame(420), a transparent acrylic plate(430), a cover(440), a reflective sheet(450), and multiple LEDs(460). A white reflective sheet tape is adhered to the edges of the insulation material. The aluminum frame is formed on the top surface of the insulation material and has a guide recess in the inner side. The both lateral sides and the bottom end of the transparent acrylic plate are inserted into the guide recess. The cover covers the top of the acrylic plate to be fixed. The reflective sheet is adhered to the rear surface of the transparent acrylic plate and a pattern presenting a distance or notice is formed thereon. The multiple LEDs are installed at the lateral sides, top surface, bottom surface, or edges of the transparent acrylic plate for illuminating the pattern or letters formed on the reflective sheet. |
