PURPOSE: A laser marking device and a method thereof are provided to use various sizes of laser beams and to increase machinability by expanding processed area and reducing spot size. CONSTITUTION: A laser marking device(100) comprises a beam generating part, an inverse beam expander(130), a beam expanding part(170), and an F-θlens(190). The beam generating part forms parallel light-type laser beams with a fixed beam size. The inverse beam expander expands the size of the laser beams to form expanded convergence light. The F-θlens converges the convergence light to form the laser beams having a predetermined spot size.
