PURPOSE: An upper module structure of a floating offshore plant is provided to streamline installation work, repairs, and replacements by simplifying a supporting structure of an upper module and a supporting stool and by unifying standards. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a superstructure of a floating offshore plant comprises a support stool(10), a main bearing(20), a plurality of hydraulic jacks(30), an upper module(40), a plurality of side stoppers(50), and a redundant support. The support stool is installed on the upper deck of a hull. The support stool has the main bearing installed at the center, the hydraulic jack installed around the rim, and the upper module supported by the main bearing in the upper side. The side stoppers protruded from the bottom surface of the upper module to the lower part sits a distance from the upper side of the support stool. The redundant support is formed between the upper module and the upper side of the support stool. |
