The computer instrument for measuring lung parameters consists in a sensor based on a direct current motor with brushes, where a patient requiring a lung diagnosis blows over a pipe of 10 cm of height, with cardboard nozzles of 5.8 cm of length and 2.9 cm of diameter. In addition, the invention includes software for displaying the spirogram of the test (obtained by a moving average filter) and the lung parameters. The aforementioned characteristics are encoded in Lab View. The proposed system allows signs of lung diseases to be measured; it does not replace a medical diagnosis.
