An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a repair method for the same are provided to maintain an optimum amount of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal panel by discharging surplus liquid crystal through a repair process when gravity inferiority occurs. A liquid crystal panel comprises the first substrate, the second substrate, a seal pattern formed at an edge of the first and second substrates, and a liquid crystal layer formed in the seal pattern(100S). A display inferiority inspection is carried out for the liquid crystal panel(110S). As laser beams are primarily applied to the first region of the seal pattern, a portion of the first region is removed(120S). And then, laser beams are secondarily applied to the remaining portion of the first region to metamorphose the remaining seal pattern(130S). As the liquid crystal panel is pressurized, surplus liquid crystal is discharged through the first region(140S). |
