PURPOSE: A resin composition for optical film is provided to manufacture an optical film which has excellent optical transparency, low haze, and remarkably improved toughness. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for optical film includes 40-94 weight% of an acrylic resin; 5-40 weight% of an average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or less; a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer; and 1-20 weight% of an ultrahigh molecular weight styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer with an average molecular weight of 1,000,000-9,000,000. The content of acrylonitrile in the styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer with an average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or less is 15-26 weight%. The content of acrylonitrile in the ultrahigh molecular weight styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer is 15-26 weight%.
