PURPOSE: A wire saw where hard particles for cutting are electrodeposited is provided to prevent the separation of hard particles for cutting from a core wire and to improve the structure for high efficiency slicing. CONSTITUTION: A wire saw where hard particles for cutting comprises a core wire(10), a lower plating layer(20), a first plating layer(30), and a second plating layer(40). The lower plating layer is plated with copper and a copper alloy. The first plating layer is plated with hard metal at 400 HV or greater on the lower plating layer. The second plating layer is plated on the first plating layer.
