#CMT# #/CMT# The linear actuator includes a toggle lever (8a) whose movement causes contraction or expansion of the linear actuator. The force generated by the electromagnets (1) between the two portions (3a,3b) is transmitted through the guides (5a,6a) on the shaft (7) of the toggle lever. The two portions are joined together so that they can move along the X-axis with respect to the other portions. The shaft is moved in relation to the guides along the Y-axis. The portions (4a) and the shaft of the toggle lever are connected to each other. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electro-mechanical linear actuator. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The linear actuator is made up of few simple and relatively different components, so that it is suitable for cost-effective applications where smaller forces and high speeds are required. The maximum distance between the magnets can be chosen arbitrarily small.
