A METHOD OF EVALUATING AND DRIVING AN IMAGE

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating a pixel and a driving method thereof are provided to offer more actual pixel evaluating method by measuring a contrast ratio by section and applying recognition brightness considering the recognizing property of a human. CONSTITUTION: An interval setting stage(S1) sets a section for measuring brightness. A brightness measuring stage(S2) measures the brightness of each section. A recognition brightness applying stage(S3) applies recognition brightness according to the measured brightness. A local contrast radio drawing stage(S4) draws a local contrast ratio using data controlled at the recognition brightness applying stage. A pixel property evaluating stage(S5) evaluates a pixel property with the drawn local contrast ratio.
