PURPOSE: A method and mobile terminal for processing display by using eyes and gesture recognition are provided to adjust the size of a certain region on a screen through eye concentration and restore the size-adjusted portion into an original state through a simple gesture in order to increase convenience in the operation. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(17) displays information on a screen, and a camera unit(15) photographs a user. A motion detector detects the movement of a portable terminal to output a gesture detection signal. A control unit(19) receives and analyzes a user image photographed by the camera unit to trace the gaze of the user in real time. The control unit adjusts and displays the size of the gaze focus portion, and restores the size-adjusted portion into an original state according to the gesture detection signal. |
