PURPOSE: A shift bar lice wire type vehicle control system and a smart key system thereof are provided to convert the gear of the vehicle according to the manipulation of the smart key. CONSTITUTION: A shift bar lice wire type vehicle control system comprises a TCU(Transmission Control Unit)(120) and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(130). The TCU receives signals which commends to change gear to D or R shift while the starting is turned on. The TCU operates the gear from P shift to D shift or R shift. The ECU(Electronic Control Unit) receives traffic signal from a communication unit when the gear is at D or R shift. The ECU drives the vehicle according to the traffic signal. If the traffic signal is not received, the ECU operates the pedal brake so that the vehicle does not move.
