PURPOSE: A stopper control cylinder holding apparatus of a continuous casting machine is provided to prevent negligent accidents such as a crash and a drop accident and to perform stable work by preventing a false operation of a stopper control cylinder during a casting operation. CONSTITUTION: A stopper control cylinder holding apparatus of a continuous casting machine comprises a second connection member, a first holder, a second holder, a basket(49), a support(41), a housing(40), a shaft(37), a driven bevel gear(38) and a driving bevel gear(34). The second connection member has a fixing member moving up and down to move a stopper, thereby controlling the degree of opening for the dip nozzle. The driven bevel gear is fixed integrally on the upper end of a shaft. The driving bevel gear and the driven bevel gear are interlocked with each other and connected to a motor(32) as a power source. |
