The tube has upstream and downstream sections (8a, 8b) that are assembled in longitudinal alignment with each other. A ring (16) made of deformable metallic material is mounted at the interface between the sections. The ring is radially deformed during assembling of the sections in a hollow low pressure rotary shaft of a turbojet engine such that the ring is supported on the shaft. Radius (R1) of an external surface (18) of the ring is lower than radius (R2) of an internal surface (4) of the shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a degassing tube used for guiding gas flow in a hollow rotary shaft of a turbojet engine.
