PURPOSE: A polarized glasses type stereoscopic image display device is provided to realize three-dimensional images by including a polarizing transparent electrode instead of a polarizing plate. CONSTITUTION: A polarized glasses type stereoscopic image display device has a polarizing transparent electrode(204), an image panel(200) displaying left and right images on pixels line by line, and a retarder(220) converting the linear polarization of the left and right images into different circular polarization from left to right. Organic compound layers(202,203) can be formed on a substrate(205). |
