PURPOSE: A battery charging device and a charging method thereof are provided to increase a voltage level by implementing charging based on measurement error. CONSTITUTION: A voltage measurement part(110) measures the voltage of a battery. A control part(120) outputs charging control signals corresponding to an early stage charging mode and a late stage charging mode. A charging part(130) provides charge power to the battery. The charge power corresponds to the charging control signal. The late stage charging mode lowers the charge power while charging.
