PURPOSE: A battery is provided to maintain structural stability while reducing a supporting element by including a cell-fixing structure and maximizing the cooling performance of a cell by removing a supporting member which covers the surface of the cell. CONSTITUTION: A battery comprises a plurality of pouch type cells(110',110) with a pair of electrodes(111); a support(113) which is mounted on the edge of the pouch; one or more coupling units which penetrate the support and fixated to the support. The support is formed from one material selected from steel, Al, and reinforced plastic. The edge part of the cell is folded once or more. The support is inserted to the folded part of the pouch edge. |
