PURPOSE: A precipitating type fiber member is provided to improve the operational efficiency of a filter by accelerating the absorption speed of the fiber member. CONSTITUTION: A precipitating type fiber member includes a porous non-woven fabric substrate(1) and a high density particle layer(2). The porous non-woven fabric substrate is composed of two or more kinds of fibers, or complex spun fibers containing thermoplastic polymers with different melting points. The high density particle layer is formed on at least one side of the porous non-woven fabric substrate. The thermoplastic polymers are selected from a group including polyethylene, polypropylene, poly(ethylene terephthalate), poly(propylene terephthalate), poly(butylenes terephthalate), and poly(lactic acid). |
