PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to enhance luminous efficiency by improving the spreading of a current supplied from a second electrode to a second conductive semiconductor layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure includes a first semiconductor layer(122), a second semiconductor layer(126), and an active layer. The active layer is arranged between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer. A graphene layer(130) is arranged on the second semiconductor layer. An electrode layer(144) is arranged on the graphene layer. A sub electrode is arranged on the second semiconductor layer. The graphene layer is arranged on the lateral side and the upper side of the sub electrode.
