<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stripe pattern at narrower intervals when compared with prior art while avoiding contact between patterns, in a technique of manufacturing an electrode for battery by applying a coating liquid containing an active material. <P>SOLUTION: While scanning a nozzle 21, having many ejection ports in the X direction, in the Y direction for a base material 110, a coating liquid containing an active material is ejected from each ejection port so as to coat the base material 110 with the coating liquid. Between the patterns 221 formed by the first time scanning, the coating liquid is applied again by the second time scanning thus forming a pattern 222. Contact between patterns due to spreading of the coating liquid at the starting end of a pattern is prevented, by differentiating the starting end positions of the patterns 221, 222 in the scanning direction (Y direction). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
