<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit connector terminal capable of reducing insertion force when being inserted into a through hole in a printed circuit board, preventing plastic deformation of a contact portion when being attached, preventing whitening of the printed circuit board, eliminating deterioration of a plated surface of the through hole, and excellent in contact reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A press fit connector terminal 100 formed by subjecting one sheet of elastic metal plate to predetermined bending processing, includes: a pin part 11 having a U-shaped cross section and a middle shaft part 12 provided on a tip end side of the pin part; and a contact portion 14 formed by arranging a plurality of V-shaped contact pieces 13 so that a longitudinal direction thereof runs in a longitudinal direction L of the middle shaft part 12 and they surround the middle shaft part 12 in a projecting manner.
