<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector into which a terminal fitting, subjected to corrosion prevention measures, can be inserted and in which short circuit of the terminal fitting or worsening of resin flow when molding a housing can be prevented, without up-sizing when compared with a conventional connector. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 10 is provided with a cavity 11 into which a terminal fitting 40 bonded to the terminal of a wire 30 is inserted from the rear. The terminal fitting 40 has a barrel 42 being bonded to the core wire 31 of the wire 30, and the contact part of the barrel 42 and the core wire 31 of the wire 30 is covered with a waterproof member 50. At a part of the peripheral wall 16 of the cavity 11 corresponding to the barrel 42 of the terminal fitting 40, a recess 23 for widening the width dimension of the cavity 11 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
