<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel motor control technique capable of achieving enhancement of stop accuracy, shortening of time required to stop, and reduction of variation of required time with good balance. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control unit estimates a current upper limit value that can be input to a motor, and performs first control processing for driving the motor with a driving current corresponding to the upper limit value (S180), and calculates a stop requirement Pn that is a carrying amount required for decelerating/stopping a drive object by second control processing based on a standard profile (S150). The standard profile is a target profile in which the time from the drive start point in time of the drive object 10 to the stop point in time is constant, and the acceleration peak during deceleration is set to a limit value -Ap that can be achieved in the motor.
