<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine the proper stacking of Z-fold sheets on a staple tray with the direct conveyance of small-sized sheets to an external stacking tray without installing an auxiliary tray without controlling a sheet discharge speed. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet processing apparatus includes: a pair of second conveying rollers 12 for conveying conveyed sheets P to the downstream side; the staple tray 21 on which the sheets P conveyed by the pair of second conveying rollers 12 are temporarily stacked; and jogger fences 22 and 23 which have such an alignment function that the jogger fences reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction to align the sheets stacked on the staple tray 21 in the direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction, and such a conveyance function that the jogger fences move toward the sheet underside support positions 22-1 and 23-1 located inner than the sheet side in the sheet width direction to convey the sheet while the upper end surfaces 22u and 23u of the jogger fences 22 and 23 come in contact with the under surface of the conveyed sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
