<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RI (radioisotope) battery which uses used nuclear fuel in a power plant or reprocessing plant, high level radioactive waste, used control rod radioactivated, or high concentration radioactive cooling water due to the accident of Fukushima first nuclear power plant. <P>SOLUTION: The RI (radioisotope) battery generates power by heating one end of a thermoelectric transducer 4 via a heat conductor pipe 3 with dissolved salt 1 heated by decay heat from RI2 by radioactive waste.
