PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an axial length of a part where torsion springs are disposed constituting a lock-up device so that an axial length of an entire torque converter can be reduced.
SOLUTION: A lock-up device includes a piston 10, a first plate 11, a second plate 12, a plurality of rivets 13, and a plurality of torsion springs 15. The first plate 11 includes a plurality of first spring housing parts 111a. The second plate 12 has a plurality of second spring housing parts 12a opposed to the first spring housing part. The rivet 13 supports the second plate 12 relatively rotatable within a predetermined angle range and axially relatively immovably with respect to the first plate 11. The torsion springs 15 are housed in the first and second spring housing parts 111a, 12a, have circumferential both ends lockable to circumferential ends of both spring housing parts 111a, 12a, and elastically connect the first plate 11 and the second plate 12 in the rotation direction.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
