PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety system that can precisely detect the entry of a person into a strong magnetic field area in an MR photographing room.

SOLUTION: The safety system includes: a plurality of human detection sensors 201 arranged on a ceiling or a floor in the MR photographing room 401 in which a magnetic field generating means is installed; and a determination means for determining whether a condition for issuing an alarm is satisfied based on a position of the person in the MR photographing room 401 detected by the plurality of human detection sensors 201 and information for specifying an area where the magnetic field intensity is higher than a prescribed level in the MR photographing room 401.
