<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency by enabling prevention of reduction of undercooling effect in a high pressure side refrigeration cycle, and by enabling lowering of condensation pressure in the high pressure side refrigeration cycle. <P>SOLUTION: A turbo refrigerator includes a plurality of refrigeration cycles each configured by sequentially connecting therein a turbo compressor, a condenser, an expansion means and an evaporator, and is configured so that a low pressure side refrigeration cycle A on an upstream side of cooling water and the high pressure side refrigeration cycle B on a downstream side are combined by flowing the cooling water from a condenser 2A of one refrigeration cycle of the plurality of refrigeration cycles to a condenser 2B of other refrigeration cycle in series. On the downstream sides of the condensers 2A, 2B in the respective refrigeration cycles, subcoolers 3A, 3B are provided, respectively, and cooling water is passed therethrough. Further, the turbo refrigerator is configured so that cooling water after having passed through the subcooler 3B of the high pressure side refrigeration cycle is merged with inlet cooling water to the condenser 2B of the high pressure side refrigeration cycle, thus allowing water to pass through the condenser 2B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
