A heat exchanger tube, which is capable of significantly improving the amount of heat exchanged per unit volume while also achieving high heat exchange efficiency by applying a rotational flow to exhaust gas, is provided. The heat exchanger tube is configured in such a manner that: a flat tube body (14), which is shaped so that a plurality of circular tubes are brought in proximity of each other and arranged in a plane, and the adjacent locations therebetween are connected as communicating sections (13), is used; rotational flow-forming projections (16) are formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of circular tube sections (15), which correspond to the circular tubes of the flat tube body (14), so as to follow a concentric spiral path, and the central axes (O) of the circular tube sections (15); and a rotational flow of an exhaust gas (10) can be individually formed in each circular tube section (15). |
