The conveyor belt has apertures formed at the end portions of cross-beams, so that the spiral springs are inserted into apertures while overlapping the turns of the adjacent spiral springs. The cross-section of the cross beams is set in oval shape. A hollow chamber section is formed in each cross-beam. A gutter edge is formed at the outer rims of the belt. The spiral springs and cross-beams are made of steel.
