An apparatus for removing residual voltages of an LCD device is provided to discharge residual voltages charged in pixels by increasing rapidly gate-off voltages when power is turned off. An apparatus for removing residual voltages of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a drain voltage outputting unit(41), a pull-up controller(42), and a gate-off voltage pull-up unit(43). The drain voltage outputting unit drops a drain voltage up to a level. The pull-up controller detects the drop of the drain voltage and outputs a pull-up control voltage on a gate-off voltage in the drop. The gate-off voltage pull-up unit, which is turned on by the pull-up control voltage, pulls up the gate-off voltage by a voltage outputted from the drain voltage outputting unit. |
