<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic electronic device which includes a layer containing a strongly acidic polymer and an organic-inorganic laminated barrier layer and achieves both excellent device characteristics and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electronic device is constituted of at least an organic-inorganic laminated barrier layer 11, a plastic support 12, a transparent electrode layer 13, an organic active layer 20, a metal electrode layer 26, and an upper sealing member 30 and contains a strongly acidic polymer.
