<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highlight illuminations on a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A display part 46 and a luminescence part 42 are arranged in intimate proximity to each other on the outer surface of a case of a mobile terminal and each configured to light up in accordance with an event. The mobile terminal also has a lighting control part which controls lighting of the display part and the luminescence part. When an event common to the display part and the luminescence part occurs, the lighting control part gives priority to lighting of the luminescence part over lighting of the display part. For example, it is an event which requires steady information transmission by the display part in addition to bright illuminations by the luminescence part, which is typically an incoming call detection event. When an incoming call detection event occurs, the luminescence part lights up and starts illuminating and then the display part lights up in accordance with an operation input of a user to display personal information (e.g., name, telephone number) of a called party. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
