<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a low gain in the conventional dielectric waveguide slot antenna and difficulty to closely dispose because of a too large occupied area when a radiation plate structure is changed to obtain a high gain. <P>SOLUTION: A dielectric waveguide at least having one slot on one surface of a dielectric in a manner to expose the dielectric, and a substrate having a via hole with the substantially same as shape as the slot at a position facing the slot, and a radiation plate having a radiation hole whose length in the longitudinal direction is longer than the length of the via hole in the longitudinal direction at a position facing the via hole are joined together. A minute protrusion is disposed on the surface of the radiation plate at the distance of 1.5 wavelength or smaller than a frequency from the center of the radiation hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
