A protection element cover member that is positioned between the protection element and the protective circuit module and that covers the protection element, and a protection element coupling member that is positioned between the bare cell and the protection element. The protection element is attached to the bare cell, wherein the protection element coupling member is coupled to a protrusion on the cap plate.
