The present invention relates to a method for predicting a risk of chronic myeloid leukemia, and a diagnosis kit using same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing chronic myeloid leukemia, comprising at least one gene selected from the group consisting of MTHFD1L, AKAP12, ZBTB2, RMND1, C6orf211, C6orf97, ESR1, WSB1, FAM27L, FLJ33360, and EBF1, and a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) positioned in a transcriptional regulation region or a sequence complementary thereto, and a diagnosis kit using the composition. The risk of developing chronic myeloid leukemia can be effectively predicted or diagnosed using a gene correlated with chronic myeloid leukemia and an SNP marker according to the present invention. Further, the present invention can be applied to the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia and studies on the development of drugs. |
