摘要 <p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a dynamic damper with which the movement of an inertial mass in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of a rotating body can be restricted without requiring complicated processing. This dynamic damper has an inertial mass which is housed within a housing formed in a torsionally oscillating rotating body, and which diminishes torsional oscillation by moving reciprocally in the circumferential direction of the rotating body along a rolling contact surface formed at the inner wall surface of the housing in response to the torsional oscillation. On at least a portion of the rolling contact surface there are formed receiving surfaces which cause multiple reaction forces, which are produced in the inertial mass from the rolling contact surface with respect to the load of the inertial mass, to be generated in the inertial mass, perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotating body and symmetric on both side of the plane passing through the center of gravity of the inertial mass. In addition, these receiving surfaces cause the mutual component forces of those reaction forces in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotating body to oppose one another, and equalize the magnitude of the mutual component forces.</p>
