<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus capable of suppressing the body movement of a subject during imaging, thus reducing the deterioration of image quality caused by the body movement of the subject. <P>SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus includes an imaging plan creating unit for creating an imaging plan having a downtime between two continuous imaging protocols. Moreover, the MRI apparatus includes: a table on which the subject is arranged; a belt for fixing the subject to the table; and a bed device having a belt tension varying means for varying a tension of the belt according to at least one of height, weight and a section to be imaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
