<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator coil which inhibits the occurrence of expansion of an insulation layer even to a portion of a coil end part of the stator coil which is exposed to the exterior of a stator core and is located near an end surface of the stator core in the stator coil of a rotary electric machine which performs total impregnation insulation process. <P>SOLUTION: When a stator coil, where a main insulation layer is formed by winding a tape insulation material around an entire wire coil, is impregnated with an insulation resin and hardened while being attached to a slot of a stator core to be subject to insulation process, a jig, pressing a portion of the stator coil which is located near an axial end surface of the stator core, is inserted into a space between each stator core pressing member protruding from the axial end surface of the stator core, to which the stator coil is attached, and the stator coil protruding from the stator core. Then, impregnation and hardening processes of the insulation resin are performed, and the jigs are removed after the completion of the impregnation and hardening processes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
