<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device in which damages on an optical system caused by spontaneous emission light and deterioration in optical characteristics are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A fiber laser device 5 comprises a first light source 10, a second light source 12, a fiber laser amplifier 20, and a fiber laser oscillator 30. The first light source 10 has an emission period during which a first seed light is emitted as a pulse train having a first cycle and a non-emission period longer than the first cycle. The second light source 12 can emit a second seed light having a wavelength different from a wavelength of the first seed light as a pulse train having a second cycle during the non-emission period. The fiber laser amplifier 20 has an optical fiber 22 to which a first rare earth element was attached. The fiber laser oscillator 30 has an optical fiber to which a second rare earth element in which a light absorption intensity in the wavelength of the first seed light is higher than a light absorption intensity in the wavelength of the second seed light was added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
