<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is capable of improving the productivity in printing after recovery from a jam (paper jam). <P>SOLUTION: A conveyance path of a printer branches into an upper path and a lower path for ejecting each conveyed recording sheet to a sheet ejection tray, in the downstream side of a location provided with a secondary transfer roller and a fixing roller in the conveyance direction. When a jam is detected in the lower path (#1), a recording sheet following the recording sheet of the jam object and having a page succeeding the jam object page normally printed is conveyed to the upper path and is temporarily waited (#2). At a time of recovery printing, the jam object page is printed and ejected, and at a predetermined timing after the sheet of the page has reached to the upper path, the evacuated recording sheet is ejected from the lower path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
