<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polyester resin that has properties such as a high refractive index, high thermostability, and low birefringence by good balance. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin includes as polymerization components: a dicarboxylic acid component; and a diol component, wherein the dicarboxylic acid component includes a dicarboxylic acid component having a fluorene skeleton, and the diol component includes: 9,9-bis(hydroxy (poly)alkoxyaryl)fluorenes; and 9,9-bis(aryl-hydroxy (poly)alkoxyaryl)fluorenes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
