PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability from a state of displaying a lock screen indicating a lock state.

SOLUTION: A device (for example smart phone) 1 includes a touch screen display 2 for displaying a lock screen including an application icon associated with a key icon and an application, and a controller 10. When the key icon and the application icon are superimposed on each other to detect the release gesture, the controller 10 releases the lock state and executes the application associated with the application icon where the key icon is superimposed. The controller 10 can select the application associated with the application icon to be displayed on the lock screen from among the applications that can be executed.
