<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel in which color washout is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel includes a plurality of pixels äP<SB POS="POST">n,m</SB>}, arrayed in a matrix, (wherein n=1, 2, to N, m=1, 2, to M). Each pixel P<SB POS="POST">n,</SB><SB POS="POST">m</SB>includes a first sub-pixel P<SB POS="POST">n,m</SB>(1) and a second sub-pixel P<SB POS="POST">n,m</SB>(2), which respectively include sub-pixel electrodes. A gray scale value g of an image displayed on a pixel is related to a gray scale voltage, and when the gray scale voltage is applied to the pixel P<SB POS="POST">n,m</SB>, the plurality of pixels äP<SB POS="POST">n,m</SB>} are arranged to produce a potential difference ΔV<SB POS="POST">12</SB>(g) at the sub-pixel electrodes of the first and second sub-pixels. The potential difference ΔV<SB POS="POST">12</SB>(g) changes along with the gray scale value g of the image displayed on the pixel (wherein g=0, 1, 2, to R, and g corresponds to the gradation of the image represented with h bits, and h is an integer which is larger than 0, and R=(2<SP POS="POST">h</SP>-1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
