<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case and a clinical thermometer with a battery case capable of preventing a battery from separating away from the battery case by preventing a fingernail of an infant from entering into gaps of the battery case even when the infant touches the clinical thermometer. <P>SOLUTION: The battery case includes: a battery housing part 21 having a concave portion SP in which a button cell is housed so as to be attachable and removable; and a lid member being attachable to and removable from the battery housing part so as to cover an opening of the concave portion. The concave portion SP has a wall surface part 30R arranged on a periphery of the button cell adjacent to an outer peripheral surface of the button cell, a groove 55 is formed by continuously cutting out a part of the wall surface part 30R and an end face 19 of the opening adjacent to the part of the wall surface part 30R, and the wall surface part 30R has an extension part 40 protruding toward the groove 55 so as to prevent fingers from touching the outer peripheral surface of the button cell when the fingers are inserted into the groove 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
