A system and method for training a student to perform bodily movements are disclosed. A model video example of the bodily motion is displayed to the student, which is followed by a sensory-reduced session. During this session, sensory stimulus perceivable by the student is suppressed, to facilitate focus on, attention to, and cognitive absorption of the bodily motion. Audio content is played during the display and sensory-reduced session. The selection and playing of the audio content during the video display and sensory-reduced session are configured to induce the student to cognitively absorb the model video example. |
