<p>A camera CPU (32) browses the specifications for a plurality of smart phones connected to a digital camera (10), and adjusts the quality of live image data on the basis of live image data output from an imaging device (18). The camera CPU (32) also temporarily changes the quality of live image data to high quality, when an imaging preparation instruction issued by one of the plurality of smart phones is received.
