In a cine-camera in which light from objective 1 is reflected from the shutter on to a photo-cell 6, the response of the cell is made independent of the operation of the shutter by arranging for the mirror surface 3 to intercept only part of the image-forming beam from objective 1, when the shutter blade 2 is stationary. When the shutter blade 2 reciprocates vertically to expose film 4, the consequent intermittent illumination of cell 6 by moving mirror 3 is arranged to be equivalent to illumination provided when the shutter is stationary. |
