<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi display system which is capable of automatically assign identification information associated with an arrangement position to each image display device in a simple device constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A multi display system 1 includes: a plurality of image display devices 10 each of which has a display screen 10a and which are arrayed in matrix along the vertical direction V and the horizontal direction h; and an image signal source 20 for outputting image information of an image displayed on a multi screen 1a to each image display device 10. The image signal source 20 generates image information of a gradation image which changes its gradation value at a certain rate, and outputs it to each image display device 10. Each image display device 10 acquires the gradation value of a predetermined display position on a self display screen 10 on the basis of the image information received from the image signal source 20, and recognizes an arrangement position of the self device on the basis of the acquired gradation value, and derives identification information ID related to the arrangement position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
