<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus for improving throughput during continuous duplex recording and continuous duplex/single-sided recording by setting the optimum page gap, and a method and a program for conveying a recording medium by the same. <P>SOLUTION: A drive control unit 10 determines the page gap of a preceding recording medium 31 and a following recording medium 31 on a conveying path by at least one of the recording media 31 to be fed from a feeding unit 2 and the recorded recording medium 31 to be fed again via a path changing unit 3 after the recording, on the basis of information for designating at least the kind of the recording medium 31. Next, the drive control unit 10 causes the control unit 1 to convey the preceding recording medium 31 and the following recording medium 31 on the basis of the determined page gap, and performs the control instruction of the path changing unit 3 on the basis of the information for designating at least the kind of the recording medium 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
